THE NEXT "WINE EVENTS" OF CANTINA RIZZI

2020 has just begun and there are already many "wine events" announced and in which our Rizzi winery will take part in the coming months.

BBWO 2020 - BAROLO & BARBARESCO WORLD OPENING

A real celebration of Barolo and Barbaresco in the world: this is the promotional idea announced by the Barolo Barbaresco Alba Langhe and Dogliani Protection Consortium with the BBWO event.

It will start on February 4 in the United States with the first world tasting dedicated to the additional geographical mentions (MeGA) of Barolo and Barbaresco, open to commercial operators, journalists and private consumers, which will continue on February 5 when the best palates from the five continents selected by the Consortium will have the task of tasting the new vintages of Barolo (2016) and Barbaresco (2017) with the aim of assigning a score in hundredths to the two vintages. The event will see its conclusion in the heart of the World Trade Center with a starry gala dinner animated by the presence of Alessandro Cattelan as presenter and a concert by the musical group Il Volo.

United States as the first stop, therefore, but not only: the event will then fly to Shanghai in 2021 (second edition) and on the West Coast of the United States in 2022 for the third edition.

VINITALY 2020

April will instead see a very important Italian event known all over the world: we are talking about Vinitaly, the international wine exhibition which in the past edition saw the participation of over 33 thousand international Buyers.

Vinitaly 2020 will be held as always in Verona from 19 to 22 April and the Rizzi Winery will be present in pavilion / hall 10 stand P2
